Baskerville-Donovan, Inc. is hiring a Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our growing team of professionals in our Mobile, AL office. Under the direction of the Federal Market Director, this candidate would be responsible assisting in the design, development, implementation and analysis of civil engineering solutions. Our customers are primarily related to federal infrastructure programs with the Army Corp of Engineers and our work involves most disciplines under the civil engineering umbrella. A successful candidate can expect to perform engineering evaluations, design, and cost estimation related to projects awarded to Baskerville-Donovan.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fundamental engineering skills in stormwater, drainage, collection, and conveyance.
- Fundamental engineering skills in water supply distribution systems.
- Basic understanding of permitting with jurisdictional agencies to determine federal, state, and local requirements and the ability to assist in preparation of permit applications and supporting documentation.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a team of engineers and support staff.
- Preparation of technical reports, progress reports, etc. under the direction of direct supervisor as requested by management.
- Strong desire to network and build lasting client relationships.
- The ability to attend meetings with staff, clients, contractors, vendors and others as required.
- AutoCAD and Microsoft 365 skills are a plus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering (From an ABET accredited engineering program)
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or related area
- Ability to obtain a State of Alabama Engineering license (Either passed FE Exam or plan on taking exam).
