BDI worked with the City of Pensacola for this engineering and surveying project for the Community Maritime Park Day Use Marina design. The design consisted of a 48-slip floating marina with finger piers, gangways, and landings. The marina provides public dockage for 48 recreational vessels with a length of at least 26 feet.
The project includes dual kayak launches, a fishing weigh station, and a scale for future City fishing tournaments. BDI provided the site boundary and topographic survey, overall site design, permitting, and bidding services for this project.
The project received a grant from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, awarded under the Natural Resource Damage Assessment – Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill (NRDA-DWH).
